She first appeared on stage as a character in the production The Big Funk (John Patrick Shanley) on Broadway off-Broadway. In The Perfect Tribute, she made her TV debut the following year. In 1992, she got her first role as an actor supporting the character the movie Basic Instinct. It marked the start of her career professional career.
